Chat rooms
Press Alt+C or type /chatroom to open a room. Give it a title, choose how many people may join, and add a password if you want a private room. Your room appears as a bubble over your head.
Double-click someone's bubble to join their room; locked rooms ask for the password. While in a room, ordinary chat goes to the room. The host can rename, lock or resize the room and ask a guest to leave. Moving away, changing maps or dying takes you out of the room, and the room closes when its host leaves.
Mailboxes stand beside the Kafra in the major towns. Click one, press Alt+M, or type /mail to open your mail. Send a short letter to any character by name, online or offline, with Zeny and one item or stack attached.
Sending a letter costs postage, a little more when Zeny is attached. Collect attachments from your inbox when you can. Letters are kept for 30 days and then removed together with anything still attached.
