Open photo mode
Press F9, or open the game options with Esc and choose Photo Mode (F9). Every HUD window is hidden and the game stops taking your movement and attack input. Press F9 or Esc to close it, and everything returns exactly as it was.
Photo mode won't open while you are dead, casting, talking to someone or answering a prompt. If a conversation, a prompt or a connection error appears while it is open, photo mode closes by itself so you can see and answer it. Nothing in photo mode is sent to the server or seen by other players.
Move the camera
The camera stays within limits around your character, so it never dips under the ground or leaves the scene.

Change the look
- Tilt-shift and Focus band: the miniature diorama effect, and how wide the sharp band is.
- Depth of field: blur the background.
- Time of day: try a different hour for your photo. Only your screen changes.
- Colour grade: Default, Warm, Cool, Parchment or Vivid.
Save your photo
Press Save Photo or Enter. The picture is saved at your screen's full resolution into a Screenshots folder in the game's data folder, and a notice tells you its name.
